In recent weeks, University of Łomża had the pleasure of sending its staff on Staff Week and training visits to two renowned partner universities. The first of these initiatives took place in collaboration with the American University in Bulgaria, while the second was with Kauno Kolegija University in Lithuania. These events marked a significant step in building international relations and strengthening cooperation between our institution and other educational and scientific institutions worldwide.
During the Staff Week organized by the American University in Bulgaria, two of our staff members, Zbigniew Dziekoński from the International Relations Department and Patrycja Mościcka from the Faculty of Health Sciences, established partnership relations with representatives of nearly twenty foreign universities, aiming to develop and initiate institutional cooperation.
The training visit to Kauno Kolegija University (Lithuania) was attended by three of our employees: Katarzyna Zacharzewska-Arnista, Head of the International Relations Department; Marcin Trojanowski, Deputy Director of Administration; and Leszek Dardziński from the Department of Food Technology and Safety. They had the opportunity to deepen existing relations with our Lithuanian partners and gain a closer insight into the technological infrastructure of the university.
Staff Week and training visits are not only opportunities to broaden horizons and exchange experiences but also opportunities to build lasting relationships between universities. University of Łomża consistently participates in such initiatives, which contribute to strengthening our international position and opening up new opportunities for the development of our academic community.
We look forward to future projects and initiatives that will allow us to further expand cooperation with partners from around the world.
