The University’s Library is on the first floor of the Institute of Food Technology and Gastronomy at Akademicka 1.
The library collection includes textbooks and scientific literature in all fields of studies offered by the university. The library has a wide selection of textbooks, dictionaries and didactic aids – audio cassettes, video tapes, CDs – for teaching foreign languages, mainly English and German. The collection includes more than 11400 volumes, 1200 digital documents.
The library collection includes also 3050 volumes and 55 titles of science journals, regional magazines, domestic weeklies, domestic and regional dailies and on-line magazines. All magazines are available in the reading room. The library has also an electronic reading room and Internet access, and an on-line access to scientific databases and articles in science journals, such as Web of Science, SCOPUS, EBSCO, Springer, Wiley and others.
