Physical education - first-cycle - full-time
Purpose of study
- acquiring knowledge and skills in the field of physical culture and health sciences;
- acquiring the ability to recognize human needs in the field of somatic and motor development related to participation in physical culture;
- developing an attitude that promotes health and physical activity in the workplace and in the local environment;
- acquiring practical skills for independent planning, implementation and evaluation of physical activity for health;
- preparation for work in primary schools and educational institutions;
- preparation for work in sports clubs;
- preparation for work in local and state institutions that operate in the field of physical culture.

Organization of classes
- first-cycle programme (6 semesters)
- Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 08:30 pm
Confirmation of English language skills
For programmes conducted in English, the candidate must submit a declaration of English language proficiency enabling him or her to start studying.
Admission procedure
Candidates will be enroled according to their place on the ranking list. This principle does not apply to candidates who have sports achievements in Olympic disciplines and competitions confirmed by relevant documents:
- record holders of Poland or the candidate's country of origin, Europe and the world (seniors and juniors).
- medalists of the Polish Senior Championships or having an equivalent title in the candidate's country of origin (in individual or team sports),
- champions of Polish juniors or having an equivalent title in the candidate's country of origin (in individual or team sports),
- finalists of the World and European Championships in the senior category (1-8 place in individual disciplines, 1-6 place in team sports) or in the junior category (1-3 place in individual or team sports),
- participants of the Olympic Games (in individual or team sports),
- World Cup finalists (1-3 place in individual or team sports),
In the above-mentioned cases, the decision on the admission of a candidate and on the awarded score is made by the University Admissions Committee.
Candidates holding the so-called "New Matura"
The number of points obtained from the following subjects determines the position of the candidate on the ranking list from the highest grades obtained from the three subjects taken during the written part of the secondary-school leaving exam "New Matura". If the candidate took the higher level, the number of points is multiplied by 1.5.
Candidates holding the so-called "Old Matura"
The number of qualifying points is the sum of points converted according to the scale given in point 2.2. (Regulations of the Admission Procedure for programmes conducted in English) from the highest grades obtained from the three subjects taken during the written part of the secondary-school leaving exam.

The admission fee in the amount of PLN85 should be paid as soon as possible after registration of the application and no later than on the date of submission of documents and the end of the admission period.
The admission fee is refundable if it is applied for by a candidate only in the following cases:
- the programme, postgraduate programme, specialist education course and education in other forms is not open for reasons attributable to the University,
- withdrawal of admission documents by the candidate before their analysis by the admissions committee,
- in the event that the candidate makes a payment after the deadline set in the Regulations of the Admission Procedure and will not be enroled.
Fee for an Electronic Student Card (ELS) – PLN22
Note! The fee for the Electronic Student Card is paid once, regardless of the number of selected programmes. It should be submitted after receiving information about enrolment.
The fees for programmes conducted in English are determined by the Rector’s order
The semester fee for full-time Physical Education programme in English for students who are Polish citizens starting the education cycle in the academic year 2023/2024 (first-cycle programme) is PLN2,500
The semester fee for full-time Physical Education programme in English for foreign students starting the education cycle in the academic year 2023/2024 (first-cycle programme) is PLN9,800
The fees for full-time programmes in English are paid to the University's bank account (other than that for the admission fee or the Electronic Student Card fee), by 15 October in the winter semester and by 15 March in the summer semester. You will receive the bank account number to pay for your programme after you are enroled as a student.
